Stage 2 and Stage 3 Programs
Stage 2 is the advanced lab that started it all at InterProd. A highly selective group that only offers 16 slots to serious artists looking to expand their skills, Stage 2 is the only advanced lab for Interpretation students in the country. Students who have been through Stage 1 and Stage 2 at InterProd will be eligible for admission to Stage 3. Stage 3 will include a separate lecture series. Stage 2 and Stage 3 will also introduce an audition preparation curriculum, as a class for students who are preparing for high school or professional auditions in theater and college/conservatory auditions. While there is an unlimited number of event spots available to Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 have a total of 16 available event spots (Duo would count as one event spot). Students
Administered by David Kraft, and run by Ryan Knowles, Stage 2 furthers the theories and practices that started in Stage 1. Students will be exposed to advanced performance theories and practices by Stanislavski, Brook, Rheinhart, Sanderson and many other ground breaking individuals. The exercises in Stage 2 keep a student developing their skills while furthering their own Interpretive production. Stage 3, which will be run by David Kraft, will offer and advanced lecture series that will meet everyday and will build upon the skills and training offered in Stages 1 and 2.
Stage 2 and Stage 3 students also open their productions at the Guerilla Interp showcase at the end of the institute. Using natural settings the showcase is perhaps some of the most innovative interpretive performances currently run anywhere.
